RJS improved the energy performance of this Hertfordshire home through a practical programme of fabric and service upgrades. The work focused on reducing heat loss, improving the comfort of the main living spaces and making better use of the existing building rather than adding unnecessary complexity.
Insulation, draught control, glazing details, heating arrangements and ventilation were considered together so that improvements worked as a balanced package. Careful preparation and making good kept the finished rooms neat, while the completed home feels warmer, more efficient and easier to manage day to day.
