RJS remodelled this split-level North London house to make movement between its different floor levels feel clearer and more useful. The work included rethinking selected room arrangements, improving storage and coordinating repairs, lighting, flooring and finishes around the existing structure and staircase connections.
Careful setting-out was important where thresholds, steps and built-in elements meet, helping the home feel joined together rather than fragmented. The completed remodel balances practical circulation with comfortable living space, supported by clean carpentry, well-prepared surfaces and durable finishes throughout.
